Pregnancy Symptoms: A Must-Read for All Pregnant Women

Pregnancy symptoms are not limited to being fat and less mobile. This article is written especially for all expectant mothers and those in their company.
Basically, women who are pregnant can be more fragile than usual. Some sources recommend getting in contact with a doctor or midwife if a pregnant woman merely “just doesn’t feel rightâ€. Because the body of a pregnant woman changes so rapidly, GP’s should expect to get these kinds of calls, and be happy to give advice – it can be difficult for a pregnant woman to know whether or not what she is experiencing is “normalâ€.
One pregnancy symptom which does not require a great deal of imagination to acknowledge is severe stomach pains – but be aware that this may be accompanied by nausea or vomiting. Also, cases of swelling or puffiness (oedema) shouldn’t come as a surprise. In most cases it’s no cause for concern unless it’s particularly severe or sudden, together with a headache or vision problems; note that this may be a sign of pre-eclampsia.
Because an unborn foetus requires energy just like the mother to sustain life, let it be clear that pregnancy symptoms can include a sudden increase in thirst. However, if this is followed by little or no urination, it may be a sign of dehydration or gestational diabetes, which would only increase the risk of complications for both mother and baby.
Fainting, dizziness, fever, and leaking fluid from the vagina, should also never be ignored. If you are pregnant, you should always need to ensure that your child is away from any harm done.
