A Day Late and a Positive Short

So, I’m a day late. The pregnancy test is negative. According to the box, there is a 99 percent accuracy rate on the first day of a missed period. How sure are you now? Husband asked. –Well, it says 99 percent correct, so I’m pretty sure I’m not pregnant. We sighed and went out to dinner. I had a glass of wine. Ok, I had two. We came home: still no period.
